A.I. is a chair created for the first time using recycled materials, where aesthetics and structural requirements remain unchanged, harmoniously combining with generative design.
The added value of A.I. lies in the fact that it is the first product family designed with the input of artificial intelligence, responding to the designer's (Philippe Starck) guidelines and Kartell's know-how. In practice, this means combining creative thinking, brand experience, and the capabilities of artificial intelligence to develop a chair model based on an algorithm that faithfully implements the original design assumptions – to create a comfortable product with appropriate durability and structural solidity, while maintaining one of Kartell's key values: being an industrially injection-moulded product of exceptional aesthetic quality.
